Snorkeling & Sailing Charters
  • Sail to neighboring islands on a classic sloop
  • Snorkel at pristine "out of the way" reefs
  • Learn more about the reef with guided snorkeling where he identifies the fish and creatures and discusses their behavior
With steady trade winds, the Virgin Islands are known for great sailing. St. John is surrounded by many uninhabited cays with fringing reefs that offer excellent snorkeling. The Wayward Sailor is a classic sloop and a sailors' dream. The large cockpit offers a comfortable and safe sailing experience.
Capt. Phil as a 35-year Caribbean sailor, has a passion for sailing and snorkeling and sharing it. He is a marine naturalist and has studied the local coral reefs extensively.
One of his fortes, is teaching beginners how to snorkel and making sure everyone is comfortable in the water.
For the experienced snorkeler, we offer advanced snorkel sites with great free diving and drift snorkels.

Dear Capt. Phil,
We brought back great memories of our sail with you, your interesting information about the octopus, and how relaxing the sail was for us. We'll treasure those memories always. Thanks again for a lovely afternoon from two true fans!
Yours from Nancy and Tom

Hi There Capt. Phil!
We had such a good time with you last week! Thanks again for making a perfect day! You are getting some good promo on the USVI forum this week. It's interesting that both people who recommended you provided links to your website, but none of the other recommendations got that. I guess we just love you Capt. Phil! Tell Tarn we said hi!
All the best! MG
