Snorkel Snapshots

Experience another world - the coral reefs!

The reefs are teeming with a variety of tropical fish, corals, creatures and together make up the largest ecosystem on the planet Earth. Visit the reefs and see the variety of vivid colors and the interaction between the many unique living organisms that create this delicate complex system.

Here in St. John, we have a shallow reef system which offers incredible snorkeling. The beauty of a shallow reef system is that you do not need to SCUBA dive to explore the best of the reefs. St. John is surrounded by many uninhabited cays with pristine reefs full of life and are easily accessible by boat.

The warm tropical waters are so refreshing with temperatures ranging from 76 - 84 throughout the year. On an average day the visibility is 60 feet plus. The protected bays and reefs are friendly and inviting with calm waters.

Voted the Best of the USVI an embarrassing number of times, Capt. Phil shares a unique Caribbean guided snorkel experience offshore from St John, with friendly snorkel instruction, eco-tour stories and photo reef talks for the whole family. He is in the water with you, helping you to spot more reef life, to see interesting animals and fish, helping beginner snorkelers, sharing secret reefs and their stories and mysteries.

All the photos in these galleries were taken by Capt. Phil while snorkeling with his guests and have not been digitally enhanced...they are all natural!

This slide show may be slow to load because we wanted to keep the image quality
as high as possible. Please be patient. The best technique is to start the slide
show and then pause it for a minute or so before continuing to watch it. This will allow
enough of the show to download so that you are not interrupted while you are watching it.
The volume can be controlled by the slider on the right side of the control bar.
